  • HSS’s Systems Integration (SI) division now serves two of Denver’s five major sports franchises. In March, HSS contracted with the Denver Broncos to provide access control and video surveillance for its new headquarters and indoor practice facility/fan experience center in suburban Denver. The Colorado Rockies followed suit in June, when the team enlisted HSS to support and enhance the existing video surveillance system at Coors Field in downtown Denver. Read more...
  • On June 8, 2014, HSS Security Officer Jamal Cunningham was in the right place at the right time for one patient of Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. A male patient suffering a heart attack had arrived in a small car and was unconscious in the back seat. Cunningham positioned the patient for CPR, which a tech started performing immediately in the car because of the amount of time the patient had been unconscious. With strength and determination, Cunningham singlehandedly moved the 270-pound man from the car and onto the bed with no further injury to the patient so CPR could continue. The patient was then rushed into the ER for further treatment. Over the radio and still in action, Cunningham alerted staff and informed them of the patient’s condition. Read more...
